I have always loved the colors on this Dahlie that I captured at Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. The purples and yellows just seem to work perfectly with each other. This is one of those pictures that I did a little editing with and desaturated the non-focal parts of the picture. Sometimes I want to do more photoshop work, but sometimes I just love how the pictures come as they are. I hope you don't mind.
Sometimes animals and birds seem to pose for a picture. I don't know if that was the case with this American Eagle or if it was just completely luck. I would love to be able to capture more pictures like this in the future. I would need to explore more and get a stronger telephoto lens to get as close as I want. Maybe 2017 will bring me these things.
Dogwood trees lined the roads where I use to live. They were absolutely beautiful in the Spring when they were blooming. The only thing I didn't like about them was that they would blood and then shed so quickly. I love the complete diversity in nature and how two trees or flowers, growing right next to each other, call be so different.
