I hope I haven't misclassified this shell. I don't know much about them, but I do know I love looking at them, and I love taking pictures of them. I don't like to pick them up and take them away though. I think that is why I love having my camera, because I can capture my picture and leave the subject where I found it.
I really do love lighthouses, but I can rarely get this close to one to take pictures like this. There are some in South Carolina that I would love to get pictures of, but getting close to them is a little difficult. Barnegat Lighthouse is on the northern tip of Long Beach Island, New Jersey. You should check it out if you are ever in the area.
This was a barn that I came across while driving around Georgetown the other day. It doesn't seem to be an old, not used one, but it looks like it is being used and is very active. Maybe it is the area that I am looking, but finding barns that are close enough to the road for me to take pictures of isn't really a common thing. The good ones that I really want to capture would require a powerful telephoto lens for me to capture. Hopefully in time I will be able to get there.
