I would love to work more on doing wildlife photography, but I feel right now I am lacking a proper lens to get the close shots that I am looking to get. For me, sitting somewhere, maybe in a chair, or a tree perch, just waiting and taking pictures of the wildlife seems very fun and relaxing to me. I captured this in Murrels Inlet, South Carolina. It is a beautiful area, and I hope to spend some more time there when the weather cools down a little.
While I was out taking pictures yesterday I saw this lovely flower in the flower bed in my complex. I guess I just didn't look close enough at the flower though, because I realized once I got it on my big screen I realized that it was a fake flower, which is a shame, because it is really pretty.
I love capturing these rays before the sun comes over the horizon. It really gives a different feeling to the sunrise picture and a different mood to feel right before the light starts to really peek through. I think I need to spend a little more time getting up before the sun comes up and going to capture wonderful pictures like this one. I think I need to explore some different areas too.
