I think I may be a little obsessed with clouds lately. Not that it is a bad thing, but I think I have been chasing too many clouds and missing out on other things that I should be chasing. Most of the time I don't know what I am chasing when I go out for the day. I try to keep my mind open and not search for anything specific so I don't miss anything.
This is one of the first pictures I took on this leg of my journey back in January. I used bokeh for abstract nature of the shot that captures the festive feeling of the holidays. I want to work more with bokeh, I also have ideas for a model and Christmas lights.
I think seagulls can be very beautiful. I have wanted to go to the beach one morning (or evening) and just sit and watch them and try to capture a picture of them, but that takes a little practice. Maybe that is what I should be doing at the end of the days. It would give me a chance to get out and enjoy the lovely beach that I live so close to. I don't think I spend enough time at the beach. I don't know if it is the sand, or the water, or what it is that keeps me away. Maybe I just need to get a pair of shorts, some sandles and go to the beach with my camera and capture the lovely pictures.
