I saw this house a few weeks ago when I was driving to Charleston, but I could stop to get a better look. I took a trip toward Charleston just to check out this house and to try and capture some of it's beauty. I don't know who lived there at one time, but it is beautiful. I would have loved to have gone inside, but I don't think that would have been allowed. Maybe I will go there again and try to get some pictures from the windows.
I don't know what kind of moth this is, or even if it is a moth. (I researched this and it is a Rustic Sphinx Moth) This picture does no justice to the size of it. I should have put something next to it to show the size, but I am not over exaggerating (too much) when I say it was the size of a pack of cigarettes. I was scared to get too close because I didn't want it to bite my hand off.
I captured this beautiful sunset while I was walking about the local outdoor mall called Broadway At The Beach in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. There are a lot of wonderful shops and during the summer there are wonderful things to do while you are there. I am glad I had my camera with me to capture this beautiful sunset. The seagulls were in the right place at the right time also. I hope you enjoy it.
