This is the underside of the Cooper River Bridge (Arthur Ravenel Bridge) in Charleston and Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. This was taken from the Mr. Pleasant Pier. This is another one of those pictures that I had wanted to get for a while. I am not sure if I got it during the right time of the day, but I am thinking about going back down there and capturing this scene at night to see what it will look like. I do hope you enjoy this one though.
I know that the 'under the pier' shot is a very typical shot to do at the beach, but I always love how they look. It took me a while to find the right pier to use. A bit of walking, and a bit of driving around to different beaches, but it was worth it. There are more things that I would love to do with the piers in the future, but for now, this is my favorite pier shot.
Sometimes really awesome things can be found in the middle of the chaos of highways and shopping malls. I thought this chapel is beautiful, so with most beautiful things I see I like to take out my camera and take a picture. This is a little chapel in Conway, South Carolina on 501. It was built in 1972. There has been a few cases of vandals and a case of fire, but it was rebuilt. 12 people can sit in the chapel, and many people have used it for wedding ceremonies. It is one of the smallest churches in America.
