One of the things I love taking pictures of is fountains. I captured this one during sunset in Georgetown, South Carolina, and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. I really enjoy just waiting for the right time to capture an image. There is a lot of patience for me to capture what I am looking for sometimes. Sometimes I am able to capture it, sometimes I miss it. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
The complex that I currently live in has little beds of flowers near the mailboxes. I am not sure who takes care of them, but I have seen people out there with a watering can on a few different occasions, so it must be an individual that does it for the HOA. Anyway, I really do love flowers. My only problem is that I never know what kind they are and usually have to ask my friends to help me out with discovering their names.
I have always loved the colors on this Dahlie that I captured at Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. The purples and yellows just seem to work perfectly with each other. This is one of those pictures that I did a little editing with and desaturated the non-focal parts of the picture. Sometimes I want to do more photoshop work, but sometimes I just love how the pictures come as they are. I hope you don't mind.
