Here is another beautiful marble angel I found while I was out exploring one day. There is a sometimes a little part of me that wants to clean them up a little bit, but then I realize that a good amount of their beauty really comes from the battering of nature and going through many seasons watching over the grave.
This is a little pathway to the beach at Huntington Beach State Park in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina. I looked for a place to capture a picture that would show the ocean also, but I just felt the closer I got to the ocean the less feeling I got from the foliage. I hope you enjoy this.
I am sometimes lucky enough to find beautiful flowers and plants very close to where I live. It is always a pleasure finding them in bloom. I was lucky enough to see that the label of this was still attached, so I didn't have to go through my normal process of trying to find out what type of flowers these are. The label had said Tuscarora, but I discovered the more common name is Crape Myrtle. I hope you enjoy this.
