I took a trip to Charleston, South Carolina to capture this picture. It is the Cooper River Bridge, also known as Arthur Ravenel Bridge. It was a picture that I have wanted to capture for a while, and I didn't know where I would take it from, but I thought I would explore and find a place. I was lucky enough to find a place that I wan't prevented from going to. There were three pictures that I captured that showed the different phases of the sunset, but I really think this is my favorite. I love how you can see the lights on the bridge and still see the sunset. I really hope you enjoy this as much as I do.
I did a new panorama yesterday at the Conway Water Walk on the Waccamaw River. It is about 135 pictures stitched together to create a high dynamic range photo. As with every photo I do, there are things I may do different next time, but I think the first thing I will need to do is get a new computer, because it took over 5 hours to render the panorama. This is one of my favorite pictures to date. I really love how it turned out, and while there are things I would change, I really think I have come a far way over the years. I hope you enjoy it also.
Here is a picture I captured before the sunset at the Cooper River Bridge (Arthur Ravenel Bridge) in Georgetown / Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. I always look at sunsets in three phases. This would be the before the sunset picture, as you can see. Then there is the few moments right after the sunset then about 25 minutes after the sunset. The colors are very different during each phases, which is what I love. I hope you enjoy this also.
