There is something so peaceful about these deadly creatures. I could watch them for hours. They have such a calming effect on me. Well, when they are behind glass they are calming, when I see them around me in the ocean they become a little stress-inducing.
Here is a picture I took during the winter in North Myrtle Beach on Cherry Grove Beach looking at the pier. Finding that perfect place for a sunrise is something that I am always searching for. The problem with some of the places is that it takes a bit to get into position to get the shot that I want to capture. The wonderful thing about sunrises (and sunsets) is that at different times of the year they will rise and lower in different parts of the sky. So, my location for capturing this picture is only good during the winter. I need to find some summer locations.
I hadn't been out to capture a sunrise in a while, and I thought that this day would be a little fitting for some personal reasons of things going on in my life. It is always difficult to determine what the clouds coverage is going to look like before I head out, so sometimes it is a little bit of a risk of not being able to capture what I am looking for. I think I did a good job on this one.
