Here is a picture I captured of the full moon rising during the summer solstice. I have said it before, and I will say it again, oh how I wish I had a more powerful telephoto lens to capture the moon.
Snowy Egrets are absolutely lovely birds. I remember when I saw my first one when I moved here to South Carolina. I thought it was a rare occurance and was so upset with myself that I didn't capture a picture, but I came to find out that they are kind of common in the area. I just need to find a place and wait. Photography is a lot of patience. Sometimes I just like to set up my chair with my camera and wait. Sometimes I don't know what I am waiting for, but I will know it when I see it.
I love walking the beach in the morning. Almost everything is untouched from the night before, and I find shells that people haven't picked up to add to their collections, and even find shells that are holding some sea foam, like this one.
