The Skywheel is one of those landmarks that people know of when they think of Myrtle Beach. To be able to capture the sun setting behind it like that took a little planning and getting in the right position on the right day. I love how the sun is just poking through the skywheel in this one.
I love capturing these rays before the sun comes over the horizon. It really gives a different feeling to the sunrise picture and a different mood to feel right before the light starts to really peek through. I think I need to spend a little more time getting up before the sun comes up and going to capture wonderful pictures like this one. I think I need to explore some different areas too.
Here is the third sunset picture I captured while I was at the Cooper River Bridge (Arthur Ravenel Bridge) in Charleston / Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. It was difficult for me to decide the 'best' sunset picture, so I ended up choosing three. One of them was before the sunset, and then two were after. They are all just such different pictures that I felt they deserved their own spotlight. I would really love to hear what you think about this one.
